Non Domestic Energy Assessors
Many asset managers are unaware of the new legislation regarding the EPC for Commercial Buildings Energy Certificates. The EPBD directive comes into effect from April 2008. Commercial property will require inspection by a commercial energy assessor who is qualified to issue a commercial epc.
Energy Assessors are also required to inspect air conditioning systems if these are installed in existing commercial buildings.
